Ceremonies
HERSHEY LODGE offers truly elegant and unique facilities. Rental for use of one of our ballrooms as a ceremony site is $1500.00. For an outdoor ceremony in a beautiful and tranquil setting, we recommend the Hershey Gardens. For more information please call

Photographs
The lushly landscaped grounds and the gazebo by our lake are our most popular on-site locations for photographs in spring, summer, and autumn months. The picturesque stone fireplace in our main lobby provides a warm backdrop for photographs in autumn and winter months.
Receptions
The tasteful Chocolate Ballroom with 18-foot ceilings and a golden yellow décor is the ideal setting for a guest list up to six hundred-fifty with a large dance floor. For smaller, more intimate Weddings, our newly renovated Magnolia and Empire Ballrooms are the perfect fit providing the rustic formality of a country garden indoors. We would be delighted to schedule an appointment for you to tour our facility and discuss any questions you may have. You will find that our beautifully appointed Ballrooms, elegant floor-length table linen, and signature “Hershey” touches will enhance your special gathering.
We reserve our ballrooms for wedding receptions and other social events up to one year in advance of respective event dates, and we ask for a non- refundable deposit of $2000.00 with your signed contract. Minimums: We have a food and beverage minimum price of $100.00 per person, there is a room rental charge of $250.00 to $500.00 for groups of less than 50 persons, and the rental varies based on the ballroom assigned.
Planning Your Reception
Once your contract has been signed and the reception date secured, we work with you to establish a timeframe for planning your celebration based on your specific needs. We recommend that you secure your photographer, band, florist, and other service providers as soon as you have set the date of your event. We strive to have all of the arrangements for your event in place one month in advance of the wedding date.
Typically, we schedule an initial meeting to discuss your ideas for the event in general and to answer any questions you may have about the planning process. After this meeting, we will schedule appointments as needed. Approximately six months prior to the date of the wedding, we will schedule a menu tasting that will assist you in selecting your final menu for your wedding day.
Our Most Popular Packages and Customized Menus
Our wedding packages consist of a four-hour name brand open bar, selection of two cold displayed items, five butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, five-course formal dinner featuring a champagne toast, your selection of an appetizer, salad or soup, entrée, dessert and a wedding cake from Dingeldein Bakery as the fifth course, a luxury room for the Bride and Groom on the night of your Wedding, an experienced wedding planner to assist you from the beginning planning stages up until the day of your event, and all service charges, labor charges, and PA state sales tax. Our packages feature some of the most creative menu items prepared by our experienced culinary team.
Our executive chef would be delighted to customize a menu to create an event as individual as you are. This may involve designing a dinner menu based on the favorite foods of the Bride and Groom, creating a signature champagne beverage for your toast, or decorating your cake table with a luscious variety of sweets, petit fours, and chocolate specialties.
